1. Q: What is the RECCO® system, and how does it work?
A: The RECCO® system is a passive avalanche rescue technology. It does not require batteries. Jackets with the RECCO® reflector can be detected by specific handheld devices used by over 800 rescue organizations worldwide, significantly speeding up the search process in an avalanche emergency.

2. Q: Is the 120g insulation enough for very cold days?
A: The 120g insulation provides a balance of warmth and breathability, ideal for active skiing and snowboarding. It is designed to be part of a layering system. For extremely cold conditions, we recommend pairing it with a mid-layer fleece or insulated jacket underneath for added warmth.

3. Q: How does the avalanche airbag system (syslight) work?
A: The jacket is compatible with an integrated airbag system (sold separately). In the event of an avalanche, the user deploys the airbag, which increases their volume, helping to keep them closer to the surface of the snow debris. This is a proven technology to greatly increase survival chances. Please ensure you are trained in its use.
